PLEASE NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS INTENDED TO PROMOTE SALES AS A TRAVEL ADVISOR, I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS IF YOU DECIDE THIS VACATION IS FOR YOU.
Located on the southernmost tip of the Baja California Penninsula, Los Cabos is one of México's most breathtaking beach
destinations. Los Cabos, which means the Capes includes the picturesque 18th-century mission town of San Jose del Cabo on the
northeast, Cabo San Lucas at the southernmost tip of the penninsula where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet, as well
as the 20-minute stretch of golf courses and luxury hotels in between both towns called El Corredor. The Hilton Los Cabos is located
along the Corridor area closest to San Jose del Cabo.
I wanted to visit this hotel because I have an incentive group who will be staying here next April, so I wanted to see the property
first hand. We were welcomed by the sales staff and then given a tour of the hotel. I thought the layout of the hotel was very fluid
and the focal point of everything is the ocean. The Hilton is located on a beautiful stretch of beach and swimming is allowed in the
cove area of the beach- but swimmers should always be careful. The Hilton Los Cabos has a beautiful infinity pool that looks out at
the beautiful Pacific Ocean; as well as, another pool and both have swim up bars. Having seen the property first hand- I can attest
to the information that they put on their website to describe their hotel:
Travel to Mexico and reserve opulent accommodations at Hilton Los Cabos, the finest of Cabos San Lucas, Mexico resorts,
where breathtaking vistas are rivaled only by our renowned white-glove service and lavish amenities.
From the moment you step into our elegant open-air lobby, you will know immediately you have arrived in paradise. Here, crisp
ocean breezes coax away your daily stresses while our first-class staff takes every measure to anticipate your every desire
Your Mexico vacation will overflow with thrilling entertainment and wonderful stories when you experience these enticing
nearby attractions:
When you travel to Mexico, we immerse you in a new lifestyle of effortless comfort and endless accommodation. To outdo all
other Cabo San Lucas, Mexico hotels, we pamper you with the following services and amenities:
At our luxury Cabo San Lucas hotel, indulgence is always on the menu, from our soothing Spa Oasis to our sumptuously-
appointed guest rooms and suites. Savor spectacular gourmet meals at our on-site restaurants and spend lazy afternoons soaking
in the sun at our beach or on a championship Los Cabos golf course nearby.
I was very impressed with the rooms, the decor was very elegant and comfortable. Beautiful bathrooms with nice jacuzzi tubs and
lots of space. There are plenty of dining options at the hotel, it's not far away from any outside activities that people might want to
participate in. It was about a 20 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas Marina/Downtown area and about a 10 minute drive into San Jose
Del Cabo's downtown area, which was a very cute town. It was rich with Mexican history and architecture, very colorful and also
very clean.
Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and the service. Each employee that we came into contact with was quick to say hello
and when we were walking along the property, we were delivered fresh bottles of water as they noticed ours were close to empty.
The fitness facility was a decent size for a hotel and offered all the state of the art equipment that you could possibly need. They
do not offer group exercise classes, but said that when they have big groups in- house if having group exercise classes or yoga on the
beach is of importance they can arrange for that. We didn't have a chance to dine at the hotel; although they did offer for us to
stay for lunch, our tour guide had already made lunch arrangements at a local restaurant in San Jose.
The spa seemed to offer all the services that one would expect from a five star spa hotel and the relaxation areas were beautiful. I
love the smell of spas when you walk in, everything smells so fragrant and clean...just sets the mood for pampering as soon as you
walk in! Staff again was very friendly and attentive.
The facility is very well vented- the hallways are open air, so you do get the Pacific breeze blowing through; as well as some of the
restaurants/lounges are open air - but very comfortable. It was about 98 degrees in Cabo the day of our tour and it never felt too
warm while we were walking through the hotel. Obviously, when out in the direct sun, it was hot ~ but inside very comfortable.
I feel very confident that this hotel will serve my clients' needs in April of 2009 and am very happy that I had a chance to see it first
hand. I would recommend this hotel to clients in the future. They do have children's facilities and staff to tend to the kids along
with planned activities for the children. It was low season when I did my visit, so it was very quiet around the resort - but I got the
feeling that even at full occupancy, the way the hotel is layed out, it would never feel crowded.
This is a hotel that I would have no problem with visiting as a guest on my own vacation. I took pictures of both a junior suite and a
regular room. The only differences would be that the junior suite is a bit larger with the full sitting area and the junior suites have
telescopes out on the balcony for whale watching season. Other than that the rooms are pretty similar.
